ARA currently has no publications on the market in the field of (North) East Asian studies. We invite scholars engaged in this field of research to submit their manuscripts and/or proposals for publication through ARA. Proposals should be made in one of the following two forms: 1- the complete draft manuscript (preferably in PDF, but WORD or WordPerfect also acceptable; all rights of the author(s) will be entirely respected and safeguarded by ARA); 2- an initial tentative title along with a tentative outline of proposed (sections &) chapters, including contributors names where appropriate, a 500-1000 word (i.e. 1-2 page) abstract summarizing the proposed publication, and a projected timeframe for completion and submission of the draft manuscript. All proposals, regardless of form, should include a statement identifying the specific intended audience of the work, its purpose and goal(s) and the perceived need on the public market which the book(let) aims to meet.
